About the Editors

Dreams and Images was edited by two of the most respected Catholic poets of our time, Dana Gioia and Kevin Bowen.

Dana Gioia is the former Poet Laureate of the United States and the author of several award-winning books of poetry. He is also the founder and director of the National Endowment for the Arts' Poetry Out Loud program.

Kevin Bowen is the author of several books of poetry and essays, including "The Flight of the Sparrow" and "The Old Adam." He is also the editor of the literary journal "The Southern Review."

Together, Gioia and Bowen have compiled an anthology of Catholic poetry that is both accessible and profound. Dreams and Images is a must-read for anyone interested in the intersection of faith and poetry.
